Highligting embossing

I did this card to recreate a painting I saw at my doctor's office. I loved it and knew it had to be put on a card. Our New Horizons DSP was absolutely perfect for this card.

Start with the larger blot stamp in the Painted Poppies stamp set. Ink it up in the VersaMark and stamp several times in different places on the New Horizons DSP. Not too many because we are going to use all three colors, and this isn't a large piece of paper.

Using the Silver embossing powder, cover the stamped images with the powder and heat it with the Heat Tool. Make sure it has all heated and is nice and shiny.

Next take the smaller blob image from the Painted Poppies set and repeat. You can do more stamping with this one, because it's smaller, it won't take up as much space.

Use the bronze embossing powder on this stamped image. Heat until shiny in all places.

Now, use this dotted image in the Nature's Beauty stamp set. You can fill up the rest of the empty spaces with this one.

Emboss this image with the gold powder. Again, be sure the powder is completely heated and shiny.

Now, adhere that to the Night of Navy card base.

Taking the strips of In Good Times DSP and cut them to make a frame. You can either just do a squared off frame, or if you're more adventurous, you can try to miter it in a 45 degree angle. Not as easy is it sounds! lol (at least not for me). Use dimensionals on the frame and place around you masterpiece.

Stamp the sentiment of your choice on the Basic White square. Pick whichever embossing powder and heat it.

Adhere this on the inside of the card. Then, take the large blob stamp from Painted Poppies and stamp it at the bottom of the card. Do not worry about avoiding the Night of Navy. That's why we did this after placing the Basic White. Now, pick that color of your choice for this and emboss,
